Stand Alone Access Control
Stand-Alone Access Control Systems
There are many stand alone electronic access control options available, and we can fit the right access control system to your needs and budget.
In fact, there are so many that the whole issue of adding access control to your business could seem rather daunting. Do you need access control but find the network based systems outside of your business security budget?
A stand alone option will not break the bank and could be the very thing you really need.
Stand Alone Access Systems
Network based access control systems can run into multiple thousands of dollars even for just one controlled door. The advantage is that they can be expanded to add extra doors over time. The disadvantage is you might only need one or two doors and will never make use of the expansion capabilities of a network based system.
Single door access is probably your best option and at a considerably lower cost. See our article about basic access control cost per door for a better explanation.
Options
- AlarmLock Trilogy series
- EIE for dedicated single door options
- Monitored door strike buzzer
- Strike or Mag Lock control units
- Restricted keyway mechanical locks

How Can We Help You?
Management publications often promote (for a fee) a particular access control option on a glossy full page spread. It looks good. What is not provided in most cases is the cost and the ROI numbers.
In many cases to date ApexAccess has helped our customers to save thousands and still gain control over a single door access problem. As little as $300.00 for restricted keyway options, to $800.00 – $1500.00 USD per door for standalone single door electronic access control, compared to about $5000.00 for a system that far exceeds your needs – ApexAccess can help get you rolling on better security for your business access.
